The study considered specific behaviour of an experimental three-dimensionally reinforced carbon-carbon material during compression tests of samples in an argon environment at temperatures in the 1600...1800 °C range for 60 minutes. We show that when the ultimate loads affecting the material equal 0,95 of the maximum failure load, the material remains functional under the conditions given because creep strain does not exceed 0,05 %
