Accuracy of Load-Bearing Planetary Roller-and-Screw Gear with Nut Without Thread

A technique and results of the study of accuracy of load-bearing planetary roller-and-screw gear (using nut without thread) are given. The load is transferred from a nut to rollers and from rollers to a screw through some hundreds of contacting coils (excessive links), which is the main peculiarity of this kind gear. The study has been conducted with application of statistical and probabilistic methods using computer.
