A method is given for determining the ultimate load-speed friction regimes of lubrication coatings. The method is implemented by example of testing the solid lubricant coating of the VNII NP 212 type. The dependences of the type of p = f(V) are obtained for the ultimate and optimal friction regimes of the given coating.
