The stationary flexural-and-torsional vibrations of a rectilinear rod are considered in the linear statement. It is shown that the torsional vibrations of this simple object occur at a frequency, differing from the excitation frequency, near a certain constant nonzero torsion angle. Results are illustrated by an example.
