The algorithm of the exact numerical determination of the complex eigenvalues during vibrations of rectilinear rods with local ties loaded by tracking forces is set forth. The results of the exact numerical determination of the complex eigenvalues, which depend on the position of the elastic local tie, are given. The critical values of the tracking forces and their dependence on the local tie position are found for the concrete examples under consideration. It is shown that with the tracking forces available the loss of stability may be both dynamical (flutter) and static (divergence).
