Tribologic Reliability of Frictional Units of Transmission Systems of Transport Vehicles

A problem to provide the reliability of frictional units of transmission systems of transport vehicles, working in oil, is considered. Based on the theoretical analysis and experimental studies, mathematical models are obtained as well as techniques for computation of main factors of the tribologic reliability - coefficients of friction and power losses as functions of parameters of operational regimes taking into account the operational changes of friction discs (wear, buckling and shrinkage). This has allowed one to optimize a number of frictional properties of frictional units and to propose some constructive solutions, increasing their reliability due to stabilization of the oil flow inside the inter-disc space and its uniform distribution all over the surfaces of discs.
