On a Method to Determine Location of Center-of-Rigidity and Torsion Tangential Stress for Arbitrary Type Profiles

Center-of-rigidity and tangential stresses for an arbitrary type profile are obtained with the help of the method of boundary elements. The conjugate approximation technique is used to define the torsion tangential stresses on the boundary contour. The precision of the suggested method is validated by comparing numerical results to the familiar analytical solutions.
