A theory is presented for the large-strain analysis of shock-absorber's rubber parts using the mixed finite-element method with independent approximation of displacements and hydrostatic pressure. The model of a low-compressible neo-Hookean material is applied for description of the rubber elasticity. It isshown by example of the arched shock-absorber analysis that the developed mathematical model provides a high accuracy of construction of load characteristics. Results of the computational and experimental investigations in strains of a rubber part of the A-2000 shock-absorber are given.
