On Equivalence of Random Vibration Testing

The possibility to replace a broad-band random stationary vibration by a sequence of narrow-band deterministic vibrations is considered. It is shown that one of equivalence criteria in vibration endurance testing can be the energy to object failure, which is unambiguously determined in the random anddeterministic vibrations. The results of theoretical and experimental studies and mathematical simulation are given.
