The problem is considered to develop diagnostic complex including software and equipment. This complex is aimed to test the first domestic serial electronic system to control automobile diesel engine YaMZ 656.10 and YaMZ 658.10, and to reveal failures. Modern European interfaces recommended for the motor transport diagnostics, are used at the complex’ development. Proposed complex allows to: monitor dynamically the current parameters of electronic control system; read the list of errors; read and decode the system state frames; change of the system’s engineering settings (characteristics, controllers, calibrations, etc.); test the actuators; program the electronic control unit. Presented diagnostic complex was applied in serial production in 2009.
