The paper deals with stabilization of resonance oscillations modes in mechanical systems excited by unbalanced rotors of electric motors of an asynchronous type. We examine the issues by constructing a "dynamic portrait" of the system. We suggest using a numerical algorithm for controlling the excitation frequency with a change in the mass of the system, the algorithm being based on measuring the phase shift between the oscillations of the system and the disturbing force. We give the results of numerical simulation of the tuning process for the resonance oscillations mode with a slow change in the mass of the system.
