Operation of Transport Diesel on Mixtures of Diesel Fuel and Rape Oil

Advantages of diesel application of biological fuels produced on the basis of vegetable oils are shown. Results of experimental studies of the D-245 type diesel of the small tonnage car ZiL 5301 "Bychok", operating on mixtures of the diesel fuel and rape oil of various ratios are given. The possibility of the substantial improvement of toxicity factors of waste gases of the investigated diesel is confirmed in its operation on mixed biological fuels.
