A method to calculate characteristics of multishaft gas turbine engines of high efficiency with various arrangements of aggregates is developed. Operation modes are analyzed for the purpose of increasing the operation efficiency of gas turbine engines in modes of limited power. As a result of the study of mode parameters of advanced gas turbine engines, having various lay-out and thermodynamical schemes, with electrical loads, it is shown that the developed method of characteristics calculation allows one to perform reliable and short-time investigations of the fuel economy in modes of limited power of multishaft blocked gas turbine engines with electrical ac load.
