Problems of the distributed simulation of complex tribological systems are discussed as well as a mathematical model of a brake friction pair: bracket-disc/pulley (steel, cast iron) considering the interference of processes of heat buildup, heat conduction and heat emission, thermoelastic and contact deformations, wear and tear which take place in the frictional contact. The given model underlies the technique of the numerical simulation of tribological systems and allows the temperature of the friction pair elements as well as the wear of the brake bracket to be determined during the braking process.
