The experience of the development personnel of the Design Bureau for Chemical Engineering n. a. A.M. Isaev is presented in the field of creation of liquid-propellant microthrusters for the Soyuz manned spacecraft. Problems are considered of applying in the home rocket technological practice the thrusters with combustions made of refractory niobium alloy and having the heat-resistant silicide coating. The construction, basic circuitry, results of tests and exploitation are described.
