Peculiarities of processes of fuel injection and spray are considered for high-speed diesels. Experimental results of studies of these processes at facilities with and without drive are presented. The feasibility to essentially improve the economic and ecologic performance of a diesel by means of optimizing a size of the working section of the injector sprayer is shown.
