Experimental studies of a problem of the longitudinal acoustic instability occurring in a combustion chamber of the solid-propellant rocket motor are performed. The experimental facility "Ekho" is described and the simulation of gas flow creation by using a cold gas in a combustion chamber of the model motor is considered.
