Simulation of Mould Processe at Profile-Bending Mill with Elastic and Rigid Tools

A new method is considered for obtaining rectilinear channels in slabs at a multirolled mill using the elastic tool. The method combines a high efficiency and economy of blank's metal. A mathematical model is developed with the help of Ansys/Ls-Dyna software, which allows one to study the characteristics of stress-and-strain state as well as the process' energy-power parameters which are necessary for constructing technological equipment.
