An electromechanical model of the material with piezoelectric properties is offered. Relationships describing electromechanical effects in the model are analogous with the determining piezoelectric equations. They allow to calculate the displacement and electric charge, to substantiate the possible ways of theoretical and experimental studies of the electromechanical link coefficient for a piezoelectric device. Relations, describing free and forced oscillations of such a system, explain the effect of the mechanical oscillation damping with the use of materials having piezoelectric properties. An expression is derived for the amplitude-frequency response of an electromechanical system with a resistor in the electric circuit.
