The modification of the method of vortex elements for calculation of nonstationary hydrodynamic characteristics in the 3D flow of a low-viscosity liquid about smooth bodies is described. Symmetrical vorton-segments are used as vortex elements. To satisfy the boundary condition at the body surface, frames constructed from vorton-segments, are used. The algorithm and results of calculation of the body resistance coefficients as compared to experimental data are given.
