Reverse and direct pressing-out operations are analysed theoretically, which results in obtaining solutions, satisfying the metal flow differential equations. While matching the solutions for areas both nearing the symmetry axis and adjoining the contact surface of the die, expressions for stresses, strain rates, flow lines are derived and boundaries of site of the plastic deformation origin are determined.
