Some applied problems in physics of highly dissipating materials destined to protect object from the irradiation are stated and solved. These problems are the choice of design parameters of protective coatings and screens, and also the modes of thermal tests for high-temperature dissipating materials. Strict influence of heating and irradiation on stability of the optical properties of real dissipating materials is experimentally shown.
