The results of mathematical simulation of the laser thermal splitting are given, based on: the analytic methods of the theory of thermal processes, and methods of numerical integration on the computer aimed to estimate the action of a local laser thermal source on the product surface; the finite element method for numerical modeling the kinetics of thermoelastic stresses and strains, and modeling the movement of a separating crack in quasi-static field of thermoelasic stresses described in the linear fracture mechanics.
