The possibility is shown for determining the additional activation energy of meltdecompaction with temperature growth during the analysis of temperature dependences of dynamic and kinematic viscosities and the computation of the activation energy of viscous flow by the classical and modified Frenkel's equations. Studies of 16 metals were performed, for which the reference data consistent in density are available for two viscosity types. The obtained value of activation energy of melt decompaction demonstrates the weakening of energy of van der Waals attraction of particles.
