A set of experimental tests on the air flowing of flying vehicles with brake devices shaped as skewing leaf flaps, is carried out. Intrinsic peculiarities in physical structures of the flow are found, and their influence on aerodynamic features, is revealed. Mathematical model and approach to calculating the flow parameters in separation zones at airflowing the leaf-like brake devices, are developed.
