The role of N.E. Zhukovsky in the formation of automobile construction science

N.E. Zhukovsky’s contribution into the formation and development of the automobile science is considered. His scientific work influence on development of the most important problems of automobile theory, namely, the car controllability and stability when curvilinear motion, power circulation under non-differential linkage of the different diameter wheels, is shown. These problems have gained a further development in the works of N.E. Zhukovsky’s apprentices.
