Main principles are presented of a technique for creating rational simulators of wheeled vehicles and their components of different levels of complexity within the framework of the system approach applied to multi-variant investigations with static and dynamic loading. Finite-element models of carters, threaded joints and transmissions are proposed which provide the unified approach to investigating stress-and-strain states under static and dynamic loading of load- bearing systems of a type of a ridge frame and skeleton of a tractor of a frameless and semiframe type. Limits of applicability of each type of models are defined on the basis of the comparative analysis of the labor input for the models development and solving the finite- element problem taking into account errors of the obtained results. Calculations, performed according the proposed technique, testify to the high efficiency and accuracy of results.
